Greensboro, NC - American Hebrew Academy

What's Jewish? There are as many answers to that question as there are Jews. At the American Hebrew Academy (Greensboro, NC.), high school students from 14 countries are discovering what it means to be Jewish. For many, the school is the first place they've been in a setting with other Jewish teenagers in their entire life. Some are observant; others are just beginning to explore their Jewish identities. Live a weekend of Pluralistic Judaism and explore what it is like to hang out with 150 other Jewish teens from around the world.

Washington, DC - L'taken Social Justice Seminar

The L'Taken Social Justice Seminar exposes Jewish teens to a variety of public policy issues while overlapping them with the Jewish values that surround these issues. Teens will have the opportunity to learn the skills needed to be an effective advocate for what they believe in and then will have the unique experience of putting those skills to use when they travel to Capitol Hill to rally our Senators and Representatives.
New Orleans, LA - Mitzvah Corps

Step aside from the stereotypical MLK Break to Disney and head to the Bayou as we help rebuild post Hurricane Katrina New Orleans! Together with teens from Temple Beth El in Boca Raton, we will engage in Tikkun Olam through house construction and repair, gardening, painting, and relationship building. We will also have the opportunity to participate in a Gospel Jazz Choir, eat beignets in the French Quarter, and spend Shabbat at the historical Touro synagogue.
Palm Beach, FL - Hatikvah Kallah

The 7th and 8th graders will get a taste of what NFTY-STR (North American Federation of Temple Youth - Southern Tropical Region) is like by attending a weekend designed just for them and other Jewish kids their age from Florida. Teens will work to organize fun and engaging programs, services, get to know you mixers, and song sessions for the 7th and 8th graders to participate in and enjoy!
Los Angeles, CA - NFTY National Leadership Convention

At NFTY (North American Federation of Temple Youth) Leadership Convention 2013, over 800 teenagers, and 110 staff members from across North America, representing 900 Reform Jewish congregations and 1.5 million Reform Jews, will join together for five days of learning, worship, and fun.
Florida Keys- Mini BESHTY Retreat (STAFF)

While at Camp Sea Base, located in Islamorada, FL (approximately ½ way between Miami and Key West), high school students will have the opportunity to staff a fun and unique camp-like experience for TBS children from 3rd -5th grade. Teens will create programs, services, meal time games as well as bed time rituals for the youth. Accommodations are NOT rustic although the location is out in nature for great outdoor activities.
Tennessee - Ocoee Adventure
March 8th-10th, 2013
Spend a "rustic" weekend in nature cooking, camping (in cabins), zip lining, tubing, and rafting while taking the time with other 12th graders to reflect on where you have been and where you are going. This is a really special opportunity to get ready for a new stage in your collective teenage life: the journey into Jewish adulthood.

College Bus Tour- UF, Emory, Duke

Always wanted to take a college road trip with your friends? Come along for the fun! We will fly into Gainesville for a terrifically unique Shabbat experience at UF Hillel as well as a Friday night getting together with past Temple Beth Sholom students. Saturday we will journey by bus to "Hotlanta" for a visit at Emory University and Atlanta's tasty variety of southern BBQ. Saturday night Havdallah in Atlanta's Centennial Olympic Park and then an early morning departure by bus to North Carolina and Duke University. An amazing opportunity to explore Jewish campus life of the south!

You will march along with thousands of other Jewish teens as your explore the rich cultural history and heritage of the Jews in the Holocaust (Poland) and then travel to Israel to celebrate freedom and independence in our Jewish homeland.

Come see how we make it possible to fit all of New York City into a 4-day trip! Days and nights will be packed with Jewish learning, eating great food, experiencing NYC's unique culture as well as much much more. Students will look at how Jews immigrated to the US while still maintaining a very Jewish lifestyle, and, at the same time, the teens themselves will explore their own family's journey as Jews in America.
