Learn the Practice of Seeing with artist Laura Paresky Gould, author of Seeing Differently: Miami Color Theory. This guided walking tour along Ocean Drive and Collins Avenue invites participants to experience Miami Beach through a different lens. Discover the colors, geometry, light, and shadows of Art Deco buildings, lifeguard stations, modern architecture, and public art while exploring complementary colors, hidden details, and the fun stories behind them. Participants are welcome to bring an iPhone or camera to capture their discoveries, but neither is necessary. The experience is about looking closely, paying attention with intention, and discovering how familiar surroundings can become sources of beauty, curiosity, and everyday joy.
