High Holy Days
Everyone is welcome
Rosh HaShanah & Yom Kippur Services
In these times of threat, conflict, and polarization, it is essential that we stand together with our differences. We aspire to create a community at TBS where, as Jewish philosopher Martin Buber once advised, we live life “toward one another.” Let us turn to each other in this new year with renewed respect, curiosity, patience, and love to create a microcosm of a world built on unity.

We urge you to renew your membership.
Our new fiscal year runs from June 1, 2025 to May 31, 2026. Thank you if you’ve already renewed or started payment installments on your renewal. Your annual commitment is 100% tax-deductible.

High Holy Day Appeal 5786 | 2025-2026
“Every person whose heart is so moved shall bring gifts.” Exodus 25:2
We are grateful for the generous support of our donors, which enables Temple Beth Sholom to provide quality religious, educational, spiritual, and social justice programs for all. Your contribution helps provide access for members who are unable to afford full dues. Every dollar counts.

PROJECT ISAIAH 5786
We think we know who’s hungry, who benefits from our food donations.
But we don’t. You can’t tell from looking. Hunger is quiet. And it’s everywhere. Including here.
Miami-Dade County has over 600,000 SNAP recipients. In the county, approximately 10% of the population (over 14% of children) experience food insecurity. This translates to roughly 291,150 people.
Help us make 5786 the best year ever for our Project Isaiah food and donation collection.
If every family in our congregation brings in 5 lbs of non-perishable food, we’ll meet our goal.
Bags will be available mid-September, and we officially kick off the collection on Rosh HaShanah, running through Yom Kippur.
Thank you to our partners at Trader Joe’s and Publix.

September 13, 2025
7:30 pm Film: The Stamp Thief (watch the trailer)
9:15 pm Dessert Reception
9:45 pm Selichot Service
Chapel/Welcome Center/Sanctuary
Our Selichot observance, led by our Clergy and Congregants, infuses the power of Teshuvah
(Repentance) with the heartfelt serenity of Tikvah (Hope). Our service begins with the Havdalah ceremony, continues with heartfelt prayers and soulful music, and includes time for introspection, culminating in the stirring blast of the Shofar.
