Celebrating 250 Years of Jews in America
As America marks its 250th birthday, our High Holy Days will invite us to reflect on the Jewish experience in this country—how America has shaped Jewish life, and how Jews have helped shape America.
Across these sacred days, we will listen to stories from within our own community, honor service and sacrifice, explore the challenges and blessings of being Jewish in America today, and consider what it means to belong—to one another, to our people, and to the country we call home.
Selichot

Selichot: Preparing the Heart for the High Holy Days
The High Holy Day season begins with Selichot, a sacred opportunity to pause, reflect, and prepare for the journey of repentance, renewal, and transformation ahead. Join us for an evening of community and prayer as we turn our attention toward the work of the soul and ready ourselves for the Days of Awe.

After services, stay and begin the year together. Whether you are a longtime member, newly connected, coming with family, or arriving on your own, this gathering is designed to make everyone feel welcomed, included, and at home.
Join us in the Welcome Center and Courtyard for a generous light dinner, warm conversation, and a sweet first step into the New Year as one community. Free of charge; RSVP required.

QR Admission Code High Holy Day Process:
- All members 25 and younger will receive their QR admission code to the head(s) of the household.
- QR codes are non-transferable. Please do not forward or give your QR admission code to non-temple members, family, or friends. Your QR Admission is a membership benefit. If you are a temple member, you may purchase guest admission. Each guest admission is $360. To purchase a guest QR admission, call Craig at 305.538.7231 ext. 230.
- QR admission code is NOT needed for Yom Kippur Afternoon (Yizkor and Neilah)
• Babysitting will be available. Registration is not yet open.
• Bags and attendees are subject to search. There will be a walk-through metal detector on site.
• Complimentary valet service is available but space is limited, so we’re encouraging the use of ride-share services.

PROJECT ISAIAH 5787
We think we know who’s hungry, who benefits from our food donations.
But we don’t. You can’t tell from looking. Hunger is quiet. And it’s everywhere. Including here.
Over half a million individuals receive SNAP benefits in Miami-Dade County. Recent data for Miami-Dade County shows that there are between 577,000 and 587,000 SNAP recipients in the county, accounting for more than 224,000 households.
Help us make 5787 the best year ever for our Project Isaiah food and donation collection.
If every family in our congregation brings in 5 lbs of non-perishable food, we’ll meet our goal.
Bags will be available mid-September, and we officially kick off the collection on Rosh HaShanah, running through Yom Kippur.
