Sisterhood

TBS Sisterhood Membership

When women get together, magic happens.

Sisterhood membership is paid separately from annual commitment from Temple Beth Sholom. The cost of membership begins with “Leah” at $54. If you are able to commit to a higher level in order to further help support our mission, please select “Rachel” or “Sarah” membership levels.

A portion of your Sisterhood dues is allocated to help the projects and programs of the WRJ (Women of Reform Judaism) and the YES Fund (Youth, Education, and Special Projects). Both groups strengthen the institutions of our Reform Movement and ensure the future of Reform Judaism.

Yes, I want to be a Sister! JOIN NOW!

The Grace Sherman Art Workshop will be on Tuesday, February 4 starting at 6:00 pm where we will make Shabbat Candle Holders and refreshments will be served.

If you’ve never taken a Grace Sherman workshop, this is a great one! And if you have…we ALWAYS need Shabbat candle holders.

Register here.

It’s time to clean out those closets—for a cause! Mitzvah Day 2025 is coming up on Sunday, February 23, and we need your new or gently used treasures to make a difference.

We’re collecting:

  • Men’s, women’s, teen, and children’s clothing (must be in great shape for local charities and brand-new for the victims of the LA Wildfires)
  • Accessories & Jewelry (bring the bling!)
  • Home décor & Judaica (elevate someone’s space!)

The gently used clothes will be donated to local charities such as Silent Victims of Crime, The Villages, and the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation. We are also collecting brand-new clothing that we will be giving to Global Empowerment Mission (GEM), which can distribute donations directly to the victims of the LA Wildfires.

On Mitzvah Day, Holy Grounds will feature a “Trash to Treasure Sale” with all the proceeds to benefit The Joyful Celebration of Margie Zeskind. So, bring us your unique jewelry, handbags, home goods, and special Judaica items —because your “trash” can be someone else’s treasure! Drop off your donations at Temple Beth Sholom by Monday, February 17.  Questions? email Ariane.

Let’s make generosity stylish!
