Mitzvah Day 2024 is in the books! Save the date for next year’s Mitzvah Day, Sunday, February 23, 2025.
We are pleased to announce that next year’s Mitzvah Day Co-Chairs will be Caryn Pardo and Shelby Kempler.
It was an amazing day and it only happened because of the work of many, many people. We had over 600 people of all ages participating in over 30 projects this year.
Thank you to our amazing Mitzvah Day Co-Chairs, Ashley Weissman and Caryn Pardo, and our Soup Contest Co-Chairs, Karen Sepsenwol, Dana Grodin and Jody Gross. Todah
rabah, a big thanks to each of you. Special thanks to our Social Justice Network co-chairs, Rachel Unger and Andrea Wagner, and our Clergy leader, Rabbi Jessica Jacobs, for their guidance and inspiration. Thanks also to Jenni Person, Marte Singerman, Leo Abramson, Dana Grodin, Vanessa Ressler and all of our Clergy, especially Cantor Porat, for making the opening ceremony so special.
On March 6, Jeff Agron, our Social Justice Director, donated $4,500 to The CLEO Institute, which was raised at this year’s Soup Contest.
Pictured with Jeff from The CLEO Institute: Daniel Dietch, TBS Congregant and Board President, and Helen Quinn, Director of Development. They are joined by our 4th and 5th grade learners from the Innovative School and their teacher, Rachel Unger, all Soup Contest contestants.
